Grace Island Baked Cheese Crisps

The best perk of my job is that people send me free stuff, and in particular free food. They hope, of course, that I will say nice things about it in print. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. This time -- holy gee. "Nice" ain't even about to cover it.

A while back, Kalista Johnson contacted me and asked me if I'd like to sample her new product. I gave my usual enthusiastic reply: "Free food? Sounds good to me!" So Kalista, bless her, sent me four different varieties of her new product, Grace Island Baked Cheese Crisps.

Are they good? "Good" doesn't begin to cover it. They're wonderful. Delicious. Fantastic. My praise is genuine and unreserved.

One of the most common complaints about low carb diets is the lack of crunchy food. Imagine the crispest, thinnest, most delicate, most delicious cheese cracker you've ever had. Now imagine it has only 4 grams of carb, three of which are fiber, in a generous serving. You have now imagined Grace Island Baked Cheese Crisps.

These are not just a sop for crunch-hungry low carbers. These are a true gourmet treat that you would be proud to serve to your non-low-carbing friends at your nicest party. They come in four varieties: Asiago, Parmesan and Italian Herb, Romano and Black Pepper, and Baby Swiss. All are equally fantastic.

Futhermore, Grace Island Baked Cheese Crisps are soy free, gluten free, and weird-fake-ingredient free -- just cheese and sesame seeds, egg white, and seasonings.

Buy 'em. Eat 'em. Make this product a success, folks, 'cause we don't want this one to go away.

I just went to their website

I just went to their website and order 2 different types, and can't wait to get them...really missing that salty crunch!

Cheese Crisp

Can someone whose tried these give me a little more information. I tried calling them several times but get no answer and haven't received a call back from them yet. It says there are 3 servings in a 29g bag. When I have grams broken down into ounces, it comes to about 1 oz. So, are you getting three 1oz bags, or 1 oz of crisp split three ways?

Quite Good

They crunch just like a chip. I had a pack of the Parmesan & Italian Herb crisps today at lunch. They are thicker than your standard wafer-thin potato chips, so they have a bit of heft...although they are still light and think. Flavorful, but maybe just a tad of a taste of "burned" to them...or maybe that's just the spices or sesame flavoring (I'll know more later after I have some of the Baby Swiss variety). I tend to like things slightly overdone, so they were just right for me. Thanks for the recommendation!
